Was wide open and Bester made a great throw!!!! Why can our QB not do this???

Because the DB's were tricked and they aren't when we run our normal offense?

This should temporarily sate the "Bob never calls trick plays" crowd . . .

I'm temporarily sated. Loved the call even it if had not worked. Also liked seeing us go after the punts - we must have seen something on film to think they were vulnerable. (But then, they paid us back).

Well....yeah, but I don't think anybody thought OU would need to break out the trick plays to beat Kansas.

Good play call... for once. Scuba looked good throwing it just right and Shepherd is fast.

Apparently, Boulware saw something after the first couple of KU punts, and swapped out some of the personnel. He sent bigger guys after the kick, and it paid off. It would have been better if we hadn't also had one blocked.

As for the trick play, LOVED it. I'm sure the anti-Huepel crowd won't appreciate the call, but I loved it.

It's not a matter of need. It makes future opponents burn practice time worrying about it.

Exactly. It also served as a momentum play.
