....and running backs. It gets old having zero depth on the lines and at linebacker while quality wideouts and running backs stand on the sidelines and watch the game.

ssYep. We have so many rbs none can even settle down and get a feel for the game.

...I was glad to see it. Would love to take this backfield to 1975 and see what it could do in the triple option

Yep,,at the expense of running some sort of semblance of a regular offense! Good he got in but, josh screwed up. Aynt no doubt!

Doesn't matter how many receivers you have if you don't have a QB that can throw the ball to them instead of at them.

I've been saying this for many years. Screw the four- and five-star receivers. Get me the four- and five-star defenders.

Look at the receivers on the 2000 national title team. Q at running back. There were not highly recruited players, but they worked hard and hated to lose.

We're the only elite schools to offer these guys. I mean, the Dalton kid has an offer from Arkansas. So what? Is that what we are looking at here? Staying on par with Arkansas' imitation football program?

The others are two-star players. And, look, I don't care what anyone thinks about the star system. Just ignore the stars and get down to the nitty-gritty: those kids' other best offers are from schools like Houston and North Texas.

Are you kidding me? This is what our new OL and DL coaches are going to stockpile us with?
