This is one of the proverbial games that isn't as close as the score. I'm surprised we're down only by 16.

Somebody else on this forum early in the season said he thought we'd be pretty good but there would be some growing pains along the way. I guess this is one of those growing pains. This was in a way a bit like watching some of the wishbone teams in the '70s, like the '76 squad. Pretty good but if you got a lead on them, they had a really hard time coming back. We just don't have a good enough passing game at this point and the D is missing some key parts.

I laughed too but the fact that neither penalty was called kind of made me wonder WTF was going on. The booth turned a blind eye and if we can see that on TV given how fast the play was I know for a FACT the booth or refs saw that.

We were overrated coming into this game.

Our defense has done better so far this year than we expected. So fans got the idea the D was back. Our D is better than last year, but still has weak spots.

Our offense has some positives this season. But we knew before today our stretch passing game is not there. Play calling hurt us today, but lack of long ball hurt too.
