The OU crowd at Southbend was great, thousands of them all over the campus, crimson and cream everywhere with Boomer Sooner ringing clear in the air. At the game the OU fans were loud and effective. I don't think the Domers have experienced opposing fans so loud and disrupting in their house. Great experience, it was almost like leaving the cotton bowl after a win over Texas. Happy, Happy, Happy!!!!

Was at the game in '99 - a good friend of mine (nd grad) said they had NEVER heard visiting fans so loud. Great to hear the same sentiment 14 years later.

i was a couple sections over from the bulk of them. i couldn't believe how loud they were when something good happened. i'm so used to hearing the fans cheering for things i don't like when i'm on the road

we even managed a false start when ND was coming out of that endzone :D

Looking towards the north - a lot of crimson in the crowd, probably close to 15-20,000.

I was sitting just off to the right in that picture. There were a lot in the non-visitors sections too - there was a lot of green, but plenty of crimson visible everywhere.
