They got waxed by Oregon, but they could be better than prior years under Butch Jones. Fortunately, OU will be a pretty experienced and salty team next season.

This was pointed out awhile back but with osu getting a back to back home game a couple years ago screwed our home schedule every other year. Our marquee non conference home games used to be on years when we played at stoolwater. Now we get those games and the aglets on the same year and then on odd years like this one we go to our marquee noncon opponent and play osu in stool water. They need to fix that.

It was a Pac 12 ref screwjob. Didn't you get the memo? ;)

I want revenge for that '39 Orange Bowl.

Next year's game should be all OU, but in 2015, after a couple of years to recruit and implement his system, Butch Jones could have a solid team. Plus, the game is in Neyland, that's one hell of a place to play.

All that orange, too!

It's a great atmosphere to watch a game. Since they've never really been world-beaters (outside of the once in a lifetime championship), the fans are pretty hospitable. They love their team, but aren't of the belief that they're god's gift to college football (Texas).

But the orange checkerboard end zones. Man. Those hurt my eyes.

I don't care what the endzones look like as long as I see a bunch of Sooners running through them celebrating touchdown after touchdown. :cocksure:

Methinks four seasons of the Mack Brown Farewell Tour may be enough to beat it out of them . . .

True, I've noticed a real drop-off from previous years. I realized the whorn fans were facing reality when the pre-season Texas hype video came out. Most of the fans had a "roll your eyes" mentality.

I am concerned about 6 road games. The Tide usually have no more than 4 road games in a season.
