Normally, I'd say this bye week was perfect to focus on ND, and all that. Normally, though, our offense would have been tuning up for three weeks, and getting in a rhythm.

With Blake having only one game under his belt, I'm not as sure the week off is as desirable. ND will be playing at home against Michigan State this week.

Rather be playing this week, or healing and practicing?

Healing and practice. We really didn't have a back-up QB this week as Thompson was emergency only. Not a good situation since we now run the QB. We could have both KT and TK ready as backups in 2 weeks. Bell could use the extra first team snaps.

actually like the fact the defense will have the extra week - more so than the offense. they're playing solid, but the extra week will help tighten up missed assignments and the like.

from a fan perspective, i hate the off week. but looking forward to some of the positive changes that are sure to show up vs. the domers and suckitude known as texas.
