If Texas fires Mack Brown on Monday, the buyout calls for $2.75M even though he's scheduled to earn more than $40M thru 2020. Sweet!

Erin Hogan at 104.9 here in Austin was speculating that Mack would announce that this would be his last season if this game went badly ... well .... we'll see. On the postgame last Saturday Hogan said in the postgame show that he didn't think Diaz would be the DC for Ole Miss ... he was right ... see what happens after this.

The Horns would put up 35 to 40 points on us .... but we'd hang 80 on them

The best part is a bunch of the national "experts" were all over their jock before the season started. They have 2000 returning starters, they have so much talent, they are going to open up the offense, Ash has turned the corner.....

Oh, and TCU was the other media darling, in addition to the Pokes. It's looking more and more like the game in Stillwater in late November will be for the Big XII..

This is just Mack's cunning, cunning plan. They're sandbagging so they can sneak up on us next month. They'll lose by 30 to KSU, and it will be the most brilliant tactic since Napoleon at Austerlitz, or Hannibal at Cannae. Hide and watch.

:mack: 's post game radio interview he said he was pleased with his teams tackling. Giving up 44 points doesn't sound like you did much tackling at all.

I gotta spek ya for this! It's been a few years but I was once well-read about Hannibal.

He's just thinking positive. They held Ole Miss to almost a third of BYU's rushing total last week. BYU had about 550 yards rushing, but still. Baby steps.

Baylor hasn't played anyone yet ... but they've done exactly what a team should do when playing a nobody. They've destroyed them. Briles is a heck of a coach ... so I wouldn't overlook them.

I guess it really is all a matter of perspective.

Who has OU played?

I think playing ULM, WV, and Tulsa is a major upgrade over Buffalo and Wofford. Baylor plays ULM and WV in the next two weeks, so maybe we will start to get an idea who they are. Of course, playing the comparison game is usually not very helpful, especially since it appears that our offense might be a little better now with a new QB. But, who knows....

Two teams that are 2-1 and a team that is 1-2.

And all of which are FBS teams.

And ShaggyBevo is down...hilarious, how cowardly and fundamentally laughable your average UT fan is. That's pretty much a constant thing throughout the fanbase. I hope we hang half-a-hundred on them come RRS.

In his post game presser, Mac said their problems are nothing that "winning the big 12 won't fix." Folks, you can't make this stuff up!! Lol
