Bell has been absolutely dominating. He has been extremely sharp, and on time. In total and complete control of the offense.
Good to hear. Would like to see Bell get a shot to be starter. Knight has time to get better and play later. Good that Knight got time in those first two games in case we need him later and Thompson isn't fully healed.

I don't know, I'm disappointed we are are not sealing the deal and just "settling" for 3. I'm glad Bell gets to break in against a weak opponent. I don't like his "rainbows" or his downhill darts. I am much more at ease with Bell than with Knight.

:frown: I'm not buying the talk that the defense is improved yet. That last drive was very similar to the last several years... giving up 4th and 15 and then a TD in the 4th qtr.
Yeah D is very inconsistent today. Brilliant one play, look like crap the next.

Ok, I can understand that. I fondly remember my first game. I was puking my brains out the night before thanks to a mixture of bud light, tequila, straight gin (in that order) and then getting up to watch tcu beat OU in our own house during the heat of the day. While walking back home to traditions, my gums started bleeding due to dehydration. NOT A GOOD DAY!

My father would show up on game day mornings to take me out to breakfast, so I learned to not go so hard on Friday nights....of course beer was still 18 my freshman year.

I honestly think TK won the starting job bc he can run the ball better than Bell. I think OU made a point to establish the run game and give defense longer breaks hence TK getting the job. Then Knight shows he is just not quite the passer he shows in practice and they were forced to make the change.
He was injured. And since bell showed he is better with the ball and decisions that is why they are making the decision to keep bell as the starter vs. ND.
