Sooner Spectator is excited to announce that former OU running back Dominique Whaley will be our autograph guest this Saturday before the Sooners' 6 p.m. battle vs. West Virginia. A walk-on from Lawton, Dominique was on his way to a HUGE breakout season in 2011 when he rushed for 650 yards and 9 touchdowns in the Sooners' first six games - all victories! Most of you probably know the story about how he suffered a freak leg injury early in the K-State game and has spent parts of the last two years trying to fully recover. He played sparingly last season for OU and still has his sights set on a possible shot in the NFL, although he is recovering from recent surgery on that same leg... Anyway, Dom will be at our tent from 3 to 5 p.m. - meeting fans and signing autographs ... come say hello to an Oklahoma kid who put his heart and soul into the OU football program - and wish him well in his future endeavors!
