Speaking of that, if DISH does pick up an HD option, can someone post it here (and I'll update the original post)?

Also, when DirecTV and U-verse release their channels, can someone post those here too?

Dont know about another board But I posted that here in the other thread. Direct wont let you purchase till Day of May not even announce till then , Just have to watch and Call in an order it.

Unless you have a Phone line connected or your TV is connected thru the Internet you Have to CALL and they charge you an extry 5 bucks for ordering over the Phone.

Thanks for the extra info vet.

Direct is a bitch bro
They will have you making reservations at the HolidayInn Express before you finally get the game ordered.
Ive dealt with em for years on this crap
Thursday evening would be the EARLIEST to even start trying Sat morning will be more like it.

My advise? Call em, Pay the 5 bucks extry rather than spend an hour trying to find it . Then try to order with the remote/

Thats just me

Cost question: Is there an extra fee for HD, to your knowledge? In previous PPV buys the HD cost is usually $10 higher :(

Will someone show the re-play? I will be at the game, but always want to see the telecast later so I can see plays I missed. If a game is really interesting, I watch them several times to see the key blocking, etc......

I live in Bartlesville and have cable TV with Cable One. Bartlesville & C-One is not listed on the chart. Cable One ran an ad in the paper about the game. I have basic cable (only about 60 channels) with a DVR. Having the DVR service is the key. I ordered the game by selecting it on the DVR menu and it should come on Saturday at gametime. Don't know why my service is not on the chart at the top of this thread; my advice, if you want to watch the game and have cable, call the company to see if you can get it.

Here is link with Sooner broadcasts on Fox TV. Not for certain any of these is a full game replay or not. http://www.soonersports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=31000&ATCLID=208865577

It's strange that Joe C said it was a Fox decision and not an OU decision to show this game on PPV, especially with Fox's amazingly lame CFB programming schedule for CFB's kick-off Saturday. They've only got one decent game and that's the late one of BSU/Washington and that goes head to head with a same time start of the UCLA/Nevada game on the PAC network which will probably get most of the Cali west coast viewers who aren't watching the ESPN games.
My listings show that Fox Sp-1 is showing UFC instead of CFB in Saturday prime time. lmao. Fox can spew all they want to about this new network, but until they get some decent CFB programming for Saturdays, this Fox Sp-1 network debut is fail for the the 1st weekend of CFB, imo.

OU Football just tweeted:

OU Pay-Per-View Channel Update
DirecTV – 786/786-1 (HD)
AT&T U-Verse – 635/1635 (HD)
Dish - TBD

A Dish user I know says it shows up as 460 in his guide but OU hasn't confirmed yet.

Thank you, I've updated the list.

I kept the Dish channel at 460, since that's what I've heard from several Dish folks. If that changes, I'll edit the chart.

Austin area Sooners! The OU Club of Austin is having a watch party for the ULM game at Fado Irish Pub on 4th Street in downtown Austin. This is one of our three normal watch party locations but the ONLY location to show the game on PPV. There is no charge to attend and all Sooner fans are welcome. Watch parties for the West Virginia game will be at all three locations (Fado, Blackfinn Ameripub at The Domain, and the Marriott Hotel in Round Rock). Thanks! Boomer Sooner!

From what I've been able to find, this game fell into the "Tier 2" rights, and Fox is running the show. My guess is that since it's part of the Tier 2 package, OU already got "paid" when the initial contract was signed.

Cool thing about PPV on Comcast in Houston. My PPV options are...Austin Peay @ Tennessee, Furman @ Gardner-Webb, Cougars vs. 2 Shafts, Baffled by Booty 4 (but I haven'T even seen the first three YET), Murray State @ Mizz, or Hot Amateurs Riding Hot Meat, BUT NO OU FOOSBALL. :(

I called Comcast and the guy said that the only Comcast Cable System that had the OU game listed on PPV was in Louisiana, and Comcast has at least half-a-dozen channels dedicated to CFB PPV. Fox is such a joke.
The ESPiN Whip-around CFB coverage channel will more than likely show "Baffled by Booty 4" or "Cougars vs 2 Shafts" than any OU football updates, unless we're being upset, then they'll jump all over it.

So Uverse, Direc and local cable all have the game in HD, but Dish is in SD.

I contacted Dish and told them to get ready for many calls from customers who buy the game , then realize it is SD.

I encourage others on Dish to let them know that is not acceptable. I got $10 off bill for 6 months as a consolation, but mainly just wanted to let them know that expecting people to PAY $39 for an SD program is not good business in 2013.

----Oh, and I'm not about to pay for SD. Going to family member's house who has cable.
