I went ahead and purchased the PPV for the ULM game, and since I'm a "subscriber", I went to the media player and tried to watch one of the "subscriber" videos. It keeps telling me to sign in before I can view the video. I launched the damn media player from my profile (which can only be accessed AFTER you sign in). Anyone else having this issue?

I'm making sure there are no bugs or hurdles before I sit down to watch the game Saturday.

Let me know if you have success. It wasn't even clear to me whether I could buy the PPV without a subscription. In either case, I don't want to spend $44.95 if a glitch keeps me from watching anyway.

I will.

That's why I'm asking around now, because I want to have it all figured out by Saturday. I sent an email to find out what is going on, and they've answered pretty quick in the past, so I'm hoping to have some info early this week.

Please do post what you find out because I was planning on buying the PPV myself. Thanks.

Whatever the issue was, I wasn't the only one having it. Not sure what was causing the problem, but it's been fixed. Everything is working fine now.

I ordered the PPV over the weekend, and there is a link (in the "upcoming events) section. On Gameday, that link will take you to the game stream.

Ordered it last night once you posted that they were giving you 3 months access on top of it. Pretty good deal for a starter! As long as it goes smoothly, I'll likely just make it an annual subscription at that point. First PPV I've been able to watch live in about 10 years.

OK,

I am new to this forum and I guess I am not allowed to start a new thread.

Everyone that has purchased the PPV through soonersports.tv needs to do a commo check on soonersports.tv tomorrow when a live audio event airs. I tried to log in last night after purchasing the PPV (and allegedly getting three free months to soonersports.tv). I used my Sony Bluray player's browser with no luck. It said media type not supported when I tried to play the live program. I then went to my Wii browser and it is not supported, as I could not even select the log-in link. My intent is to watch it on my HDTV and not my computer monitor.

By the time I brought the IPAD downstairs, the live program ended and I could not test. I will test from my computer tomorrow first to ensure everything else is working fine.

Tomorrow there is another live audio program at 7PM CST, so I highly recommend you do a test run before you try to watch the game and find out there are issues. There is an FAQ here that tells you system requirements and addresses other technical issues:

As I mentioned above, whatever the issue is, it was fixed. I was able to watch the coaches show live in my laptop. I had emailed tech support when I was having trouble watching the subscriber (or premium) content, and yesterday I received an email from them. Here's the email I got:

Thank you for your email. We realize the navigation upon logging in to SoonerSports.tv is not completely clear and we are working to clean this up.

In the meantime, once you log in you should be directed to a “My Account” page. From there, click on the “Launch Media Player” link in the top right corner and you should be redirected back to the video player where you can view content.

If you continue to experience issues or need further assistance, please feel free to contact me anytime.

Thanks again and Boomer Sooner!

Hypothetically - Someone usually streams the game. If this were to happen, there could be a thread show up here with a link, and if not here, then possibly one of the other message boards. Hypothetically.

Unfortunately, I'm not tech savvy enough to do that, but I know it happens (hypothetically). You'll just have to keep an eye out for it on game day.

This is exactly what I experienced. If I tried to view premium content in any other way, I hit the "you must login" thing. By pure trial and error, I figured out that if I followed the above pattern, it worked. So, the glitch that was there before, is still there (you shouldn't have to log in and follow a special path for every video view), but the above is the workaround.

Exactly. I did email tech and asked if I needed to do anything "special" for the PPV. I haven't heard back, but it looks like there is going to be a link available on gameday. (in the Live Events section).

I'm going to test it again tomorrow (for Coach's Corner), just to be sure.
