Light em up, Buddy! He should see some good time in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

Catchin' flies on the sideline at the moment.

Landry looks quicker to me. He gets his feet set quicker it seems. Been working on foot work NFL style.

Landry looked way better this game than last, that's what you want to see. One of his better plays was avoiding the pass rush and throwing a nice 8 yd completion during the drive

It's amazing how some things can get cleaned up when that's your job. No papers to write or statistics classes to attend.

Yep, completed a 3rd and long that drive which was called back, had a nice throw away, and then had a pass dropped

He did fall apart a bit after the TD. But in his defense that was some of the lousiest protection I've ever seen.

It was nostalgic and left a bittersweet note in the mouth.

I started off wanting so badly for him to succeed....and he showed patches of brilliance....and then...inevitably, I fear...the boneheadedness came creeping out.

I felt like it was Fall, 2012 all over again.

Ah, well, at least he didn't drop the ball and run out the back of the end zone.

or when you know that you could be fired at any moment.

This, combined with 100% focus on your job, I suspect are the keys.

Should anybody be worried that Landry was the third quarterback in for the Steelers, rather than second? Was this just to give him pretty much all of the second half to himself?

He's not competing for the backup job. Gradkowski was brought in for that. If anything, it's a plus for him that JPW didn't get in.

That offensive line is atrocious. And the starters weren't much better than the backups.

Yup, after the TD, it appeared that everyone forgot their assignments. As far as LJ, there might have been 3 or 4 int's that he escaped without. Frightful at times. But wouldn't really want the task of throwing with the guys looking for a job coming at me, either.

I was hoping for more of that great drive as he played in to the fourth quarter but just didn't see it. Pre-season though... I think he did very well and he's adjusting to the huddle and being under center now.
