Geez, I was only going to "preview" a minute of the video but couldn't stop watching. I remember those highlights like they were yesterday.

Oh man, there were so many great players on both teams in that
video. Sims was sum bad dude, Switzer, Jackson...so many awesome
players...you could spend a few minutes and find an All Pro team on
both sides of the ball from Neb-OU in the 70's-80's...all from an EIGHT
team conference...to hell with these super conferences....Jus Sayin'...

I miss the Huskers.I know it won't happen but I wish OU would renew the series with NU on a permanent basis. They could be THE marquee name on our non-con slate like UT was for years.

THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the greatest rivalries in the history of college football and it really needs to be brought back. I so miss this game ... alot of wonderful childhood memories of going to Norman and seeing the OU-Nebraska game.

Man, the Lashar brothers. There was a time we didn't have to panic every time the kicker stepped on the field.

Edit: And Dr. Tom and Switzer used to be young guys. Long time.

Last night, feeling nostalgic, I went to youTube and re-watched both the 1985 & 1987 OU/Nebraska games. The '85 game is my personal all-time favorite, but most of them were really good games.

Good times.

Billy was different. You could see it. Having never seen AD I presume he was the same. Woot!
