Nothing more than has been reported.

Apparently, it was discovered before camp even opened. I think the issue right now is to get him diagnosed and start treatment. Then they'll have a better feel for when (if) he can return.

Bad deal for Ward. The way things are looking, he could be absent from football for two year before being back. Hopefully it's not so bad that it ends his career.

I should clarify that by "two years" I was including his senior year in high school (he had to sit out because his family moved).

Let's hope it ends up being not that big of a deal, and he can be back soon!

I hope so. I looked up spleen issues on the ol interweb and let me tell you it is not a good thing and if it requires removal then it is even worse.
