That being said, had Zimmerman been charged immediately none of us would know who he or Trayvon Martin are. It was the perceived lack of justice that caused the public outcry and resulted in the media coverage.

I'm not saying that Zimmerman should or should not have been charged. I'm just saying that the fact that he wasn't initially charged is why it became a big story.


All that said, these roaming gangs of people beating up others just because of the color of their skin needs to be a high priority and needs to be stopped. The people doing that do not belong in a civilized society.

jkj, there was absolutely NO reason to charge him. The cops knew it, he was correct under the law. period, end of story. The law don't need to be manipulated by a bunch of loud mouth thugs. Tawanna Brawley come to mind? She is finally paying for her mis-deeds in garnishment of wages after living and working under an alias. Guess who was front and center... Ole fat mouth "rev" sharpton...

JKJ, I understand that idea, but like HA said, they looked into it and knew there was not enough to convict...but that doesn't excuse the bullcrap about "no justice" when he was found not guilty...the outcry is crap. I was talking about the marches and the rev that has happened SINCE the decision.
