He broke it up??? He looked like the only one that was leaving.

He obviously is from an "uncivilzed tribe".

By the way...just for clarification as there always seems to be some confusion among libs...it appears that was an anti illegal immigration rally...not an anti immigration rally.

The difference is often lost on many.

I would have asked to see his CDIB card and if he wasn't at least 1/8 Native American I would have called him a fraud.

Why would that matter? Are outsiders still trying to say who or what constitutes a tribal member? Were the pretty damn Scottish Rosses any less Cherokee? Quanah Parker any less Comanche?

It's kind of like legal vs illegal immigration. If you're invited in, you're in. If you come in and squat, you're a squatter, an illegal.

So, if you are genetically 7/8 non-Native American why would you
identify yourself a Native American? Here's the primary reason: $$!!

i can guarantee you there are a lot of people walking around
who are genetically more Native-American who don't identify
themselves as such than many with CDIB cards. Arizona State
ran afoul of the Navajo tribe in the 1990's because they tested
blood samples without the Tribe's permission and discovered
Several individuals on the Navajo tribal rolls who didn't have the
DNA markers for being Navajo or Native American.

BTW, I have several 1st, 2nd degree and other relatives who have a
CDIB card. My cousin who's mother is my mother's twin sister has a
son getting financial grants at OU via their CDIB card because my
great Grandfather's name on my mother's side appears on the Dawe's
roll. Several are seen for free at the local Indian healthcare facility.
Most of them are blond-haired and blue-eyed just like me. I also worked
in the Indian Healthcare system for 6 years and know for a fact that they
will see individuals with CDIb cards that list the holders percentage of
""Indian Blood" at 1/1024.

The guy in the video is just representative of more of the same PC BS.

And what i don't get is why that's 'PC BS'? So far as I'm concerned, the tribes ought to make their own rules about who is and isn't a member. And they might very well include spouses or descendents with little or no 'indian' blood. The point is, it's up to the tribe to determine who is and who isn't.
If you're getting $ benefits, Merry Christmas. It'll be the first time in a long long time that being 'indian' was a benefit.

Here's the deal: We (and yes I'm on both sides of this debate, as are most 'indians' these days, full bloods are extraordinarily rare, more so full bloods of a single tribe), stole the land from them. Fair enough, that's how life has worked for the last umpteen thousand years. But our white ancestors were chicken **** about saying so. They wanted it to be sanctioned as a 'good act'. So the morons insisted on having 'treaties'. More stupid, them. On the basis of these treaty rights, the tribes now have identities, can engineer cash streams and do a bit to support their people. They also get limited self rule.
Had white society been worried about that they should have simply said, 'Hi, I'm a genocidal thief, live with it' and all would have been cool legally.
It's amusing that their descendants now have to deal with the fall out from their hypocritical BS.

Then get in a time machine and go back and punish those who screwed the Indians over. I'm all for the tribes deciding who is a member and who isn't. I am fine with them running their casinos and engaging in non-competitive business practices on designated tribal territory.

What I have a problem with is the amount of federal dollars the tribes still receive while declaring themselves sovereign nations. And I reinterate, if you can't even claim to be 1/16th Native American you are really not native American. That's why my family never sought to get their CDIB cards.

Again, it's all about the $$$$$ and the PC BS comes into play because it is not PC to criticize the current federal handouts to individuals who may be 1/1024 Native American. The only reason CDIB cards are handed out to these people is to inflate tribal membership numbers which equates to more federal funds. So when somebody posts a video of a ****** castigating and denigrating other citizens about voicing concerns over a legitimate issue based on a false, hypocritical premise then I will weigh in with my opinion about the issue.

Oh, and you do realize that many who appeared on the Dawes Roll were the Boomers and Sooners who came in during the land rush.....those same "genocidal thiefs" you so passionately decry in your post. I know because my great grandfather's family was one of those families that came in during that period or shortly after.

RUSH LIMBAUGH is my clone!

Why, Fanin? Why should I get in a time machine when I have now? Now is a glorious time. It's a time in which tribal lawyers have figured out how to finally turn things around, a bit.
Selling firewater and running rigged games of chance to take money from Texans? What could possibly be more ironically hilarious? Placing businesses on indian land outside of state jurisdiction for taxation? THAT'S some funny shiite right there!

And, if I'm able to follow whatever rules the tribe institutes and become a member, why should I not get advantages such as declaring my business 'Minority Owned'?

The world isn't perfect, a lot of people got screwed and a lot are being screwed right now. I thought you were a big time conservative. Go take care of yourself, I'll take care of me. All God's chillun got to have shoes, in the words of the immortal Louisiana politician, Leander Perez.

i am glad you are pleased but those are some of the main reasons I would never, ever apply for a CDIB card.

Sad ending for a great culture......once upon a time. Pandering to the whiteman selling beads, trinkets, alcohol, tobacco and gambling.

I'm 1/16th Choctaw, and do NOT consider myself Indian at all. Not on any rolls, have no cards, nothing. Don't want any. If you're 1/4th or more, fine, call yourself Indian, do whatever you want.

I'm sick to death of these people that are 1/64th claiming to be Indian. Ridiculous.

Well vet, the law is the law. He is not allowed to leave the U.S. until the green card is in hand, subject to a 3 or 10 year ban on returning to the U.S.
