With the 51st pick in the NBA draft, the Orlando Magic select Romero Osby! BOOMER!

Heard he was having a great summer and might make the Magic? Any other info?

I figured you all would like an update on Romero since the NBA season starts tomorrow.

Sadly, he was among Orlando's final roster cuts down to 15.

Osby, the Magic's second-round Draft choice in 2013, averaged 5.7 points on 45.5 percent shooting, along with four rebounds, in seven preseason games. A power forward in college, Osby had to adjust to playing small forward in Orlando. He said after Friday's loss that he hadn't played that position since high school.

There's a long list of players who were cut, undrafted, relegated to secondary/overseas/etc leagues who ended up in NBA as solid contributors. Not saying it'll happen with Romero, but if it does, no more deserving individual. Best of luck!
