Said they were gonna sell them...wonder who would want an
armored Hummer with a mount for a 50 Cal but no 50 Cal?

They are chopping em up into scrap and gonna sell the scrap metal

I dint read the article before I posted...I just had this pic in
my mind about an auctioneer tryin to get buyers interested
in a Hummer, armored and a mount for a 50, but no 50. As
expensive as it seems, it makes sense to sell the scrap metal
versus trying to get them out of the war theater....

Yup cost moren they worth to try to bring em home.
I hope we never go back to that part of the world. Just send in the drones and cruise missiles.

I just think that not bringing them home is a convenient budget cut given the sequester. To say that we only need 10-15% of those vehicles in our army supply depot is silly.
