The Russians have been arming the Assad clan for decades. Agree it is stupid policy. Does not address who the rebels are, the whole vague chemical weapon nonsense, at least feed us some new bullsh1t, nor does it address the growing clucks of the various chickenhawks who like to spend lives and treasure on hopeless civil wars.

The article made reference to what we did in Libya with the
no-fly zone. Syria ain't Libya, much better equipment and better
trained air force. Looks like McCain is gonna get his wish...arming
the rebels first, then no-fly. If the U.S. tries to enforce a no-fly
then, almost certainly, there will be boots on the ground and,
well, not no, but HELL NO!

Many of these rebels are not our friends. If we arm them and they take over Syria, some Americans will eventually get killed by these weapons.

I think it is a good idea to stay out of another country's civil war.

Either we enter, or let Putin carry on the three ring circus.

Similar to liberals at Planned Parenthood...why don't we just sit back and watch.

The tangle of Middle Eastern politics has the White House wanting to do the humanitarian thing, help the poor outgunned and now nerve-gassed rebels while at the same time ultimately sets the U.S. up as weapons supplier to people who are on the wrong side of the fence.

In such a no-win situation, the only intelligent thing to do is stay out of it.

Radical Mooslems killing Gov't strong-arm mooslems... what's not to like?

Shame about the innocents caught in the crossfire though. Just another example of how completely impotent The Arab League is... that bunch of yahoos still around?

I agree. In fact, I think it is a good idea to get out of that **** hole known as the Middle East. Let them deal with mess they have created.

Having to hear Graham, McCain, Cheney, et. al. discuss stability in the region is disgusting.

Having to hear graham or McCain on just about any topic is irritating...almost as maddening as listening to Obama speak about energy.

Graham is a complete idiot. He's as blind as the rest of the rino's. McCain is just a feeble old man. They both need replacn.

I saw on the news that Obama and Putin will be having a sitdown over the matter at the G8 summit in Ireland.

Haven't thought of a mismatch this bad since Brezhnev and Carter. Its like tossing a kitten at a Tasmanian Devil.

Erodogan's talking tough on Syria these days. Let him enforce the no fly zone. He's fresh off roughing up a bunch of protestors at Taksim Square, he can surely take out the Syrians and Hezbollah.
