Upgraded to serious condition:

Good news, his condition is upgraded to fair. The bad news, the wreck was his fault and charges are starting at driving with a suspended license and failure to stay in his lane. Since someone died in the wreck, more charges are forthcoming.

Mookie has now been charged with vehicular homicide. He's claiming he blacked out just before causing the fatal car crash. He also had outstanding warrants out for DUI and other charges.

Heard he had been having siezures recently, not sure they can find guilty if he blacked out on the road.

He was driving with a suspended license so even if he can prove he blacked out, it may not matter.

Also, if he has a condition that gives him seizures, he shouldn't be driving and is liable. That might be why he was charged

Another good news / bad news update. Mookie is well enough to leave the hospital! However, they have moved him to jail because of the pending charges.

Bond is set at 250K for Mookie. Police say alcohol/drugs not a factor in the crash.

The only updated story I could find is one that is a few weeks old.

http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/records-show-previous-duis-reduced-former-hawks-st/nYLty/

Mookie has previously had DUI's including one in which he measured a .360 (!)
