Nope, Prancercise. Mack discovered it a few months ago and now leads his team and some dedicated fans on energizing jaunts through Austin's city parks.
OU is doomed.

Mack calls 5-7 success. He gives out trophies and T-shirts to the boys after those seasons because, when you get down to it, aren't we all really winners?

it is something. It's something of a mystery that Smack Daddy can take the same level of talent and do so little with it. I think 'F Bomb Girl' is going to be leading the stadium in her 'cheer' this year, too.

True, we should've never changed the offense after Colt left, but the national title and the additional title game appearance don't simply disappear because of the last 3 years.

Well, that's a valid, forward-thinking point of view and one I share to be honest. But the question was what success we've had and that was my answer. Now you're asking a different, separate question about this upcoming year. I would also add that you not caring about what happened 4 years ago but being totally invested in what happened in the 1950s has a certain cognitive dissonance to it and if you guys happened to be the ones to win it all last or play for it all last, it would suddenly become relevant, no?

I got no memory of anything at all.

Miami was the last Big East team to win it all as well as play for it all. Now they're mediocre in a new conference, have had had several coaching changes and the NCAA breathing down their necks. That really is something.

Yeah, it says UT wins an NC once every several decades.

So you're who in this analogy, Pitt? Cinci? If you want to insult yourself and compare yourself to a member of the Big Least, be my guest.

You mistake me for someone else, I DGAFF what happened in the 50s The Streak? Sure Im proud of it. But I dont mention it in every post unlike some weak kneed whorn does his teams MNC .

We've been up every 4 years or so under Mack. 2001 - blew Big XII title game with Simms' 5 turnovers but would've played in the national title game had we won, 2005 - national champions, 2009 - national runners up, 2013?

I'll take Pitt. They claim more national championships than we do :D

How can yall talk about football, especially something as boring as Texas after seeing that video? The crazy woman, the crazy wig (I hope), the somehow revolting camel toe, and "swat 'em cowboy" prancing....

All I remember about Texas is how the last time we saw them, their team was being run off the field by the Sooners, and the Texas fans were slinking away at halftime like so many slugs from a salt mine.

Not trying to dash your hopes and hey, it is preseason and we are all undefeated so who knows, but . . . everytime someone here pointed to some kind of trend as to when OU would win it all again, well that is the same as trying to make money on the stock market based on what it has done in the past (trust me, it is NOT that easy).

"Would've played in the national title game?" "National runners up?" what the :::: is that? Every team in top 20 can play that game.
