We had better odds at making a run for the conference in 2 and 3 years from now. This wasn't supposed to be our year. It was supposed to be the Pokes'. I'm not that saddened.

the good news is he is a one and done. I'd think he'd had a better chance of going to osu with Smart and making a run at the NCAA. KU losses a lot. yes, they always return guys but 4/5 starters are gone I think...maybe all 5.

I'm fully aware OU bball will never equal fball, it is what it is...but we've been very competitive over the last 30 yrs and can be. Just like I wouldn't expect KU fball to be competitive. Ok, not a good comparison...our bball is better than ku fball...ya get the point.
