Flying into Tulsa tomorrow around lunchtime and want a place to stop and eat before driving to NW Arkansas. Anything good?

There's a place called Christy's at 9516 E. Pine - near the corner of Pine and Mingo.

Right next door to Christy's is a sub sandwich place but I can't remember the name. Both are good lunch options and near 169/I-244 junction.

There's also a Quik-Trip across the street if you need to fill up a rental car.

White River Fish Market, without a doubt.

Pine and Sheridan

There'll be a line, but it is worth the wait.

Don't have a ton of time, so was thinking somewhere like a burger place or something. How long a wait do you think?

Tally's is at 11th and Yale. I doubt there's a wait if you want an old school Route 66 burger.
Whitefish is closer. My wife was there recently. Still primo.

The wait depends on when you get there...

11:30-45 Not too bad, no slower meal than say...Red Robin or ordering at Subway

12:00-1:00 Probably a 10 min wait and then about 10 for your food delivery.

RLIMC, I have been there within the past year. It is still yummers and I often order from the Fishmonger on my way out the door so I can cook some halibut or sea bass at home.

I was there within the last three months. Still open. Still good. Not coastal city good, but one of the two-three best seafood places in Oklahoma.

Doing this trip again tomorrow. Any new updates to a good burger in the east Tulsa area not too far out of the way of the airport to 412 route?

Colley, this suggestion doesn't match your parameters, but it is doable if you are taking 412 to NW Ark. About 30 or so miles east of Tulsa where 412 intersects with 69 (Chouteau), go north on 69 approx 6 miles. On the east side of the road will be JL' s Barbecue. It has a serving line, so no wait to speak of. I recommend the beef platter with broasted potatoes. If you like ribs, you can't go wrong with those either. My mouth is watering as I type this!

NE OK is supposed to get hit with some winter weather Tuesday, so be careful driving.

Yeah, my trip just got cancelled due to potential weather.

Well, colley, I appreciate you bumping the post anyway; it was not completely in vain. Because it motivated me to take my family out to eat at JL's tonight! We figured we might get socked in weather-wise, so let's eat out while we can...

Yeah, my trip just got cancelled due to potential weather. Fly into Ponca City instead and eat Enrique's Mexican Resturant right there at the airport. :)

Way overhyped. I was not impressed at all. Now there is a good Mexican Restaurant just east of Ponca City in McCord called Americana's I believe. Right next door to Sadie's. Blows the overrated Enrique's out of the water imo.

Blows the overrated Enrique's out of the water imo.It must have improved 299% over the last time I ate their because it sucked. We ate at Enrique's two weeks ago and it was excellent. Their pollo loco soup rocks as does the homemade salsa, don't care for their chips though. There are a lot of people who land their private planes in PC just to eat at Enriques'.I wouldn't call it overratted ,I would call it overpriced.I can recall when the lunch special was 4.95,I think it is now 8.95

I have discovered Taco Casa on my many trips down south. Their tacos are pretty good for what they are.

Close here is Only Taco bell and Taco mayo. Bueno is in Ft Smith. I stop there sometimes when Im over there. Mostly if I want mex I make it at home. I like the Tex-Max and just about every place around seems to be a More traditional type. and Use very little Spice .
