Congrats to our girls!!

46-4 overall, 14-2 conf. Killin' it!


Oklahoma closes out the regular season on Sunday with a game in Stillwater against Oklahoma State. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. A win would give the Sooners a 15-2 (.882) record in Big 12 play, which would be the third-best league winning percentage in school history.

In addition, OU will find out its postseason fate on Sunday night. The 2013 NCAA Division I Softball Championship bracket will be announced at 9 p.m. on ESPNU.

Ricketts pitched her 5th no-no of the year today. Would have been a perfect game if she hadn't plunked a batter. Now, if she can just not freak out in the tournament...

The regionals don't start until June 1st? That's quite a layoff.

Coming off the program's 10th Big 12 title, the Oklahoma softball team (47-4, 15-2 Big 12) has earned the No. 1 overall seed in the 2013 NCAA Division I Softball Championship and will host an NCAA Regional in Norman beginning on Friday. The four-team, three-day event will feature Fordham (35-21, 15-7 A-10) facing Arkansas (34-18, 12-10 SEC) in a first round game at 5 p.m. before Oklahoma takes on Marist (30-24, 10-6 MAAC) at 7:30 p.m. Friday night. All the games will be carried by ESPN3.

I was at the game Saturday. Subdued celebration for another conference title. I liked that, still business to take care of.

Incidently, the game was sold-out. Nice to see that as well. Are you paying attention Basketball?

I wish Sherri Gasso would let them wear shorty-shorts more often. Then again the tighty-whities do highlight their positive attributes. Destinee Martinez you got nice buns, hun!
