Heard a blurp on the news earlier that Justin Blackmon is in trouble again. The Jaguars are not amused by his antics.

Probably needed tranquilizers to treat his super hero withdrawal symptoms.

Well he's a poke so what do you expect? And calling him an idiot is redundant.

Getting ****faced is part of the culture in Stillwater.

It's a psychological necessity in that craphole. Hell, if I have to live there I'd never draw a sober breath.

If I could take my crimson glasses off for a second, Blackmon seems to be a good person with a drinking problem. Sadly, as these substance abuse strikes add up, you'll have less people saying "But he wears bracelets that an ill child gave him! But he visits children's hospitals! But he's so nice!"

These are not good things that this good person is doing. He needs to get his act together before his reputation as a good person is permanently ruined.

Receiver is the new running back: Dime a dozen in the NFL. Lots of players can run the ball, lots of players can catch the ball. He's good, but he's not irreplaceable.

Get your act together, Justin. You're making it too easy for us Gooners to trash your alma mater

Of the nearly 1700 players on NFL rosters, I doubt more than
a handful don't imbiibe, even to excess. Hard to believe that
boozing got him in this much trouble. You're probably right,
there's something else....

I don't wanna lurk OP unless I'm doing a meltdown thread entry (I guess I could revive it for this latest Blackmon thing, but nah). What's the word?

Purple drank? Spice? Steroids?

I haven't heard or read anything but if I was guessing, based on he's a football player living in Florida, my guess would be ganja.

Stereotyping, I know, but that's just my guess. I wonder if we'll ever hear the real story.

Looks like I was way off base. Saw this on OP.com

@RapSheet: FYI: #Jaguars knew about Justin Blackmon's suspension long before draft. From a while ago. He's behaved for GM David Caldwell & new coaches

Such a shame to see this after playing on the same team in high school. He was a pretty good guy back then.

I've seen OP meltdowns and this is no OP meltdown.

You want to see a meltdown? Look back to last November's post-OU-OSU game threads. I feared for some of their lives.
