Okay, why is Jake Fisher starting instead of Gray?

Because Overton is hurt (out 2-4 weeks) and the entire rotation has been shuffled.

Fisher pitched a helluva game. 7 1/3 innings, 10 K's and most importantly, ZERO runs. Fisher was a starter at Connors State so this isn't really anything new for him.

This could turn out to be huge given that Overton is out for the next 2 - 4 weeks.
I think that he, Garza, Carnes and possibly Krittenbrink will step up and do nicely over the next month.

I look for Gray to shut down the Sand Aggies tomorrow.

Hope Dillon's injury isn't too bad, really like him. Fisher was great last night. I agree, this is a good opportunity for those guys. They have all shown that they can get it done. Looking forward to watching Gray pitch this afternoon.

Tech is at the low end of the Big 12, with only 3 series left and us up by 1 game, we really need to sweep this and get atleast 2 of 3 from WVU and OSU before playing Kstate

Disappointing finish to the series vs. Tech yesterday. I think they really needed a sweep to get some separation from the other teams and Tech was the team to sweep. I was listening to the radio crew for the post-game analysis and they didn't seem to think that dropping the game was a big deal. Obviously, I disagree. You really need to sweep the 2nd division teams. I'm afraid this game may come back to haunt them.
