Woman was picked up on a warrant for a hate crime charge from NY. She had swindled an 85 year old man out of a bunch of money. Under the NY hate crimes laws, crimes against people over 60 can also be filed as hate crimes.
Glad she's getting the boom lowered on her, just seems outside the normal idea of a hate crime.
