I agree. San Diego is traditional west coast rowing team and the rumor is that they were a top 20 program. OU rowed against them on Saturday and swept all of the varsity races against them, also. We are a couple of bad starts from being undefeated with all the varsity boats with the V-1 8's and V-2 8's losing to Minnesota by 2 and 3 seconds respectively.

I think Leeanne is an outstanding coach and has done a remarkable job. I think with the facilities they are now building we're going to be a power in rowing.

Coach Crain is a very good coach and representative for the program. BTW, there were probably a total of 5K in attendance for all of the races in Austin this past weekend.

There are 11 rowing programs in Conference USA: OU, Texas, Tenneesee, Old Dominion, Alabama, Tulsa, SMU, KSU, KU and West Virginia.
