Was Pledger in foul trouble? He seemed to be on the bench quite a bit. Second team held their own, but we are going to need more outta Pledge and Osby has gotta keep attacking.

Not really. We ended the season blowing a 20+ point lead to our CBI rivals, lost to the worst team in conference history in our season finale, got bounced in our first conference tournament game, and got beat down by a mediocre team in the first round of the tournament. Very disappointing season.

Depth was such a strength all year and I think it hurt us bigtime in the end. Its like coach didn't even know who to play.

Well, after a night of sleeping on the loss...

Osby should get a shot for the league.

Not sure what Cousin's deal is...it's like he plays at a different speed than the rest of the team (which is NOT good), hopefully he'll grow a lot but I can see him getting frustrated and leaving in a yr, just a guess.

Not sure why we couldn't guard the dribble drive/dish...played way to close to far away from the bucket. Then when post stepped up to help the dish was open. That KEPT happening.

I know, foul complaining isn't cool, but seriously, there were some questionable calls all night. Not that that was the problem, we just couldn't handle their defense.

Yes this was a BETTER year than the last 3, and honestly exceeded my early expectations but I'm not sure next yr will be better, we'll see.

I found new reasons to love the men's game and team again...Internet meltdowns, freshmen surprises, Lon the responsible and intelligent coach, seeing Texas suck at another major sport they used to dominate, beating Kansas and seeing our students rush the court, Romero dunking, buddy stealing, Scott drew falling to baylors floor after Helsip clanked at the final buzzer, the constant changing of who got to be ranked first any given week, being mentioned in polls ourselves again...the list could go on forever

Thought we'd have a chance but inexperience at key positions cost us. Not gonna complain bout fouls. They were just better than us. Over the next few months we'll see the program grow as a whole and begin to get guys that can play their natural positions. Good effort, fellas. Thanks for a fun year of bball

Our guys just didn't come with their "A" Game but at least we made it back to the show. It's a move in the right direction and I really like the way Lon is putting the team together. He isn't making miracles happen but he's rebuilding our Basketball Program for the future.

Pretty much everybody said we're a good NIT squad/bad NCAA squad. There isn't a huge difference, and to be completely honest, we probably belonged in the NIT. The Big XII was far worse than expected, and made us look better than we were.

Looking forward, it's really hard to tell. I'm not worried about replacing anybody but Osby, but that's a big hole. He was the star player of this team, and without him, we wouldn't be laughing at Texas for being in the CBI. Somebody has to step up, but that's always the case. I honestly think Clark could be the star player next year. He took a huge step backwards during Kruger's first year, but he looked great at times this year. With Osby leaving, I think Clark picks up a lot of minutes. He can do a lot of things Osby was doing, but he's a couple inches shorter. I feel like in pretty much every sport, the biggest improvement comes from the first year to the second. That could bode well for us. Our backcourt should see considerable improvement.

Continued solid recruiting is going to mean a lot. We will have good enough guard play, just have to keep getting post players. Lots of scholarships open up this year.

Making the tournament helps recruiting also.

Things are at a spot where they can continue to build.

Really enjoyed this season and going to the games. I had not been to any games since 09. For the first time in years, I will actually follow recruiting again. Pretty exciting stuff.
