Holy cow, New Mexico State has a 7'5" guy! (http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/article.aspx?subjectid=234&articleid=20130321_234_B6_hEarly578152)

The first round is the most difficult to predict (other than 16/1) since every mid major is playing game-of-life mode

Haven't really watched much so far (although it's been on in my office), but I'm going to watch some of the OSU/Oregon game. Looks like Marquette is the only higher ranked seed to see a challenge so far.

unless you count Pitt. They're an 8-seed struggling against the 9-seed Shockers :)

True. 8/9 and 7/10 games are hard to pick. I think I took WSU in that one.

I didn't pick a ton of upsets but the ones I picked seem to all be games this afternoon. And it's all chalk so far except Wichititay state.

OKLAST down 10 to Quack. I have reserved a special, special, special spot for them on the meltdown thread now that we won't have bevo to kick around anymore :...........(

Southern almost made history.

Okla State is getting manhandled! Oregon never should have been a 12 seed.

I picked Oregon to beat OSU - don't like Oregon but I have been picking OSU to lose in the first round for years and it finally happened! TX loses in 1st game of way lower tournament and now OSU loses its first game in the NCAA! Enjoy this time of year and especially with Smart going down!

Ya gotta feel sorry for the OA's. :beaten::stunned:Well, anyway it was a moral victory them. They made it to the tournament, and they aren't stuck with :eddie:anymore

These guys with their super baggy shorts, plus leggings under them look like they are wearing a woman's swim suit from about 1910.

Oh those poor No. 5 seeds continue to fall. So glad that we weren't a 5-seed. Now we actually have a chance of winning :P

well, sh!t kansas state, did you decide that you'd prefer New Mex be the laughingstock of college basketball solely? Didn't want to share the spotlight? :P

I was thrilled to see FGCU up at half. The longer I watch this game, the less excited I get. FGCU won't be a push-over if we get them. I'd take our chances against them over our chances against Georgetown, though.

So what have we learned about the MWC (SDSU's conference) and the Big XII? They both suck. UNLV, UNM, K-State, and OSU all got embarrassed (along with Ohio State, the 5 worst losses of the tournament). Pretty good performance from CSU, though.

Woah! Horrible decision to push the ball on FGCU's part, but that was beautiful. That oop is going down in history. He really got up there. I thought he'd thrown it away.

Golden opportunity for the Sooners in Philly. Play some ball guys!

Sooners can go deeper with a good effort.

Crazy, some of these upsets. I sure didn't see some of them coming.

Hop on over to vBookie where your Sweet 16 vBetting lines will magically appear.

Top line: Florida Gulf Coast is disfavored by 12.5 against Florida, as is Oregon against Louisville

Bottom line: Kansas and Duke are favored over Michigan and Michigan State by a measily 1.5.
