Jacie and I mentioned ours in this (http://www.soonerfans.com/forums/showthread.php?176926-A-15-seed-upset-of-a-2-seed-here-s-one-for-ya) thread, but rather than high-jacking his thread, I thought we could start one specifically for upsets. Ok? Okay.

First round only or what would get the most press?

Davidson over Marquette 14 over 3, and/or Pittsburgh over Gonzaga 8 over 1.

Also, I'm pretty much wrong all the time.

Any upset.

I'm decent at the occasional football upset, but I rarely (if ever) pick a basketball upset correctly.

I've heard several folks talk about a Davidson upset...interesting.

Kentucky was marquee in name and reputation only. Noel went down and the team crashed. Last year's top 7 players are in the NBA.

Biggest upset? It has to be Oregon over OSU. Bet orange rind dot com forum would agree.

Was that really an upset though? Every prognosticator that covered the selections said that Oregon was grossly under-seeded.

It's kind of funny though, it seems that every year there is a 12 over 5 games. It's almost like the tourney selection committee wanted to make sure that continued.

I figured Oregon would give OSU all they could handle, I didn't factor in the "we're gonna show the committee why they are stupid" factor though.

I don't know about that second half, though. It's been like two months since UNC lost to a team other than Duke or Miami. They're gonna be a tough draw for Kansas in the second round (Michigan would be tough for the third round, and Georgetown/Florida completes the gauntlet for Kansas to get to the Final Four. They're not gonna make it).
