outstanding

you know, even when Mildren died, i wasnt as "affected" as I am with Davis' passing

to me - the only death that would surpass Steve's in terms of significance to the program, would be Switzers

i think the entire State goes into mourning when Switzer is finally called home

I go back to the old Chinese proverb: I pray that my father dies, I die, and my son dies . . . In that order.

Barry's passing will be mourned for sure, but he has lived a full life.

It rips my heart to pieces when kids like Box and Everage pass way too soon.

Certainly, Steve's passing ranks right there with Jack, LeRoy, and several others from that era. Sad days.

Bummer

I'm certain others have thought about this, but, OUr Sooners
that have passed on make up the doggonedest team one can
imagine...IMO...an entirely new meaning for Boomer Sooner...

It's just so sad. On so many levels. Yes, nice tribute. Thanks.

Tomorrow (Monday) is his funeral (1 p.m. in Tulsa). Please take a moment to remember #5 some time tomorrow.

P.S. And wear crimson and cream if possible.
