Texas is the first Big 12 team to play in the CBI in the tournament’s six-year history.

They should be so proud of this. Congratulations!

At a glance, and not knowing where all of the tiny schools are from, is the ENTIRE tournament Texas-free? Is this real?

The NIT has SFA and Baylor, and the CBI has Houston and Texas... so yes, THE entire tournament is Texas-free for the first time since the 70s.

I think NW State may be a Texas school, but I am not certain and way too lazy to look it up.

NW State is NOT a Texas school...they're close though.

Sorry I didn't see your post soon enough, could have saved you the search. Saw a graphic (now can't remember where) with all the teams in tourney with their logos on the map. Tejas was conspicously empty. :smug:

Northwestern (LA) is in Natchitoches, LA. Pronounced Na-Ka-Tush. OU swept them in baseball last weekend.
