Since nobody mentioned it already, here ya go (http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/OU/article.aspx?subjectid=92&articleid=20130307_92_0_NORMAN9022).

Might be nice to relax on Saturday instead of stress out for once. Hope baby's asleep by kickoff :)

When was the last time OU played on a Thursday, North Carolina?

I don't OU to play a Thursday game every year, but once in a while, I kinda like it.

Has our brand slipped so far that we have to play on Thursdays now?

Well worth it though since this will be your last chance to watch OU play at FCS, right?

You're probably right (since I'm sure you were there), I don't know why I thought that the UNC game was on a Thursday?!

I like the occasional Thursday night game.

It's not like it was back in the 90's, Thursday night games aren't reserved for mid-majors anymore. I remember the first time FSU played on a Thursday night (late 90's), it was kind of a special occasion, because they were the first "big" school to do it. Many have done it since then.

It's also the closest a team can get to "the only game in town", so it's great for exposure.

They will no doubt be doing some kind of color thing with the fans, a green out or alternating colors in sections, whatever looks good on the screen. There would almost have to be a rule against a yellow out since no one would be able to tell when the officials flagged someone.

It was mentioned in the presser that the last Thursday OU game was '92 Tech. Hopefully the upcoming editon has the same result, & the season finishes more than a little better than that one.

Baylor has been discouraging the wearing of green for years now since it doesn't show up on TV as well as gold.

I figured you were there, just didn't know it was the start of the legendary run. What is your total up to now?

I would guess that the "national" telecast was driving the decision over being lost on local (Big 12 area and multiple games on) and it being an away game it Wacko allowed Joe C and Bob to agree. I don't think there will ever be a Thursday game in Norman.

More than that, rookie. 21 full seasons and counting. 287 games in a row. 286 if you don't count TGOWWDNS.

Yep. I was there. That was the first time we had ever played Tech. I got on TV on ESPN, even.
