Chavez was only trying to exploit and hurt persons he didn't like in order to support those that supported him. We got dozens like him.

Well what I gathered is he's a communist and our communist senator just had to praise him and couldn't help himself. I predict his *** will be all over the news shortly. Maybe he wanted to do some interviews.

There's always a market for this kind of 'bold', 'against the grain', 'non-conformist' thinking. It's motivates a number of people on the right as well. Think about those who rail against the 'lame stream media' and insist that only their little clicque has access to the 'real facts'.
The guy's a moron, but he's gotten himself a gig that will give him a salary for life and a gold plated health insurance plan.

Unfortunately there's no rule or law against being stupid.
