Hope they can come out with the same defensive intensity and ball movement 2nd half. Playing with a lead has not been their strong point this year. I hope the Texas game struck a chord.

much smoother game so far..(as far as refs..missed a few but actually not too bad)
hopefully we have the step on their neck attitude. I really like the way the team is passing the ball...taking really smart shots.

Set OU, Big 12 records for consecutive free throws made and percentage. Not sure the NCAA record, but it ccouldn't be much better. Impressive performance overall.

This is a pretty unusual game stat-wise. 34-34 from the line to ISU 14-22 but ISU was only called for two more personal fouls than OU 20-18. OU only had 5 TO but ISU wasn't that bad turning it over just 9 times. Both teams FG percentage and 3 point percentage were about the same. The stat that really sticks out to me is OU's rebounding advantage. 33-21 but OU only allowed one (1) offensive rebound the entire game. One shot and done for ISU.
Pretty nifty free throw percentage!

Props to the team for bouncing back. In Ames ISU handed OU their worst loss outside the Gonzaga game and I had concerns the Sooners wouldn't be able to put the meltdown in Austin behind them. It not only looks like they did but they may have learned to be a tougher team finishing games. Good for them.

Pretty impressive win. If that event that I refuse to speak of didn't happen earlier this week I would be anxiously waiting the top 25 polls. I have faith that this team could still salvage a good seed.

Tied the record for most makes w/o a miss.
I had a blast at that game. I'm glad I decided to go and couldn't be happier for the seniors.

This was a really good win for OU after the UT debacle. Nice to see how they can bounce back after a loss like that.

Grooms has really stepped up....good to see. He's like a little waterbug...zigging and zagging all over. Too bad KC didn't get in for Sr night.

Oklahoma won in part because it tied an incredible NCAA record: most free-throw makes without a miss in a game. The Sooners went 34-for-34 from the charity stripe, tying the mark co-owned by Samford (1990) and UC Irvine (1981). So, so wish it had set the record.

Still...one heck of a day/game and even though we only tied that record, it just goes to show what an incredible stat and feat 34 for 34 is. Teams that are good from the line win a lot of ball games as putting us to the line is just like turning the ball over.

first half fouls - OU - 7, isu - 3
actually 2nd half they had 12 and only OU had 8....
so in reality the fouls were called pretty even overall. Not tryin to pick apart things...just sayin

nope...2nd half was basically 1/1 on the calls....so maybe 11 of the first 18..but 2nd half like I said, we were in the double bonus before them.
What's the word on West Virginia these days? I know we've beaten them twice but I haven't watched any of their games lately. Have they improved?

13-16 overall. They're a bucket (vs. Tech in Morgantown) away from a 6 game losing streak, & haven't scored 70 in any game since their previous encounter vs. TTU in Lubbock a month ago. If the guys show up w/ their head in the game there's no reason not to win that one.

Looks like fouls were 13 to 7 in ISU's favor until 12 minutes left in the game. Refs played catch-up late.
