Free admission to tonight's OU women's game vs. No. 1 Baylor

Lloyd Noble Center doors open at 4:30 p.m.

NORMAN -- Due to expected inclement weather, admission to Monday's women's basketball game between Oklahoma and Baylor, tipping off at 6 p.m., at Lloyd Noble Center will be free. Here are details on the game:

FREE ADMISSION
All fans will be admitted free of charge (doors open at 4:30 p.m.). However, season ticket holders and other fans who purchased tickets for the game in advance will have first right to occupy their reserved seat locations. If you already have tickets, please bring those with you for access to that seat location.

For those without tickets, all seats not occupied by the season ticket holder or by fans who purchased tickets in advance will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

PARKING
Parking lots on all sides of Lloyd Noble Center are expected to be open.

FREE HATS FOR FIRST 1,000
Monday's promotion of Coach Coale-designed hats given to the first 1,000 fans through doors will continue as scheduled. The hat is also available for purchase on OU's official online store.

Anyone familiar with Oklahoma athletics would recognize that Coach Sherri Coale has played a vital role in the success of the Women’s Basketball team at OU. You are now guilt tripped into attending tonight's game even if tonight's roads are indistinguishable from the bottomless ditches on the roadsides.

After taking the position of head coach in 1996, she brought the Sooners back into the national spotlight by taking the team to multiple Championships in the following years. In 2005 and 2006, she led the team as they became the first Big 12 team to go undefeated in conference play. Family had 6 tix and then had to watch on TV. Nobody sat in our seats despite being free admission, which is a pity.

And, that is a SWEEEEET looking cap! I would have loved to have this year's version to go with the crimson one from last year. Sherri Coale at least knows how to design ballcaps.
