Heh....

Niners definitely in trouble.

I'm wondering if they did it to sell more beer. :D

I was thinking this might happen as BLT's D can really intimidate in big games and this is as big as they get.

Shannon Sharpe is the worst broadcast person I've ever seen at such an event.

He really has a stuttering problem along with a lisp.

I can only hope that our coaches are taking some notes. Although I would much perfer of course that they are worrying more about National Signing Day right now.

I was entertained by the power outage. Game is back on, now I'm bored again. I'm rooting for another outage.

It did shut up the announcers for a few minutes. What a loss - we just could not figure out the game without their input.

I imagine that this is going to be a litigation mess. I bet advertisers are going to be demanding some money back. The financial impact of this outage could be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

If the game was a good one then they wouldn't lose too many viewers but the way it is I think they just lost a good percentage of viewers.

Probably some disgrunted Saints fan mad at Goodell...

As bad as all these Commercials are this year....we should file a class action Law suit....:D  Speaking of class action law suits, still haven't got paid from the Farmer's one, yet they still have the $ to show their lame commercials. Every time I call they say the same thing. "check's in the mail", Probably why I'll never buy insurance from that Swiss bunch again. The commercials were so bad this year we didn't even watch them.
The hottest topic of conversation was, did Nantz hide in some broom closet in the Dome during the power outage? Right after the outage, Limo's dad commented something to the effect that Nantz had checked out. He looked kind of kind of red-faced we he finally reappeared.

...I fail to see how Phil Simms keeps a job, much less garner a Super Bowl

You've obviously forgotten Jayne Kennedy.

Luckily, the only lasting memory I have of Jayne Kennedy are her (tame) Playboy pictures. Shannon Sharpe sure doesn't have that going for him.

If the game didn't turn out to be competitive... :D

but yes, fallout is to be expected with a 34-minute delay

Never a dull moment in New Orleans. We'd have the best power grid in the world if the politicians could make money off of it.

I actually clicked on that to see if there was a group called Power Outage and they were, in fact, playing at the Superdome.

Heh. I just listened to that whole cut. I was a Journey Fan because of the Infinity Album. After that, not so much. I think they just became to much of a Chick Band after that.

I also think the Niners played like a Chick Band last night too. :D

Agreed; the best part of the blackout was not having to listen to his blabbering ***
