Committed to OU today. He is not the highest regarded recruit but apparently put on a show at our last summer camp and sparked our interest. We got interested in him late so I am thinking that this means LJ Moore will commit to Oregon St.

bench max of 215?

Shiite, I bench more than that. Mind you, I weigh more than 167, too, but still...

I'm pretty confident Moore is coming to OU based on Byrd's comments. The coaches know the numbers and player movements we can only speculate on so they will find a way to get everyone in.

When I was a junior in HS, I benched 135. 5 years later, 315. Things change, dude.

When I was a junior in high school, I benched 12 ounces. For reps.

I personally don't GAS what he can bench as long as he can cover a receiver. Just sayin'.

Maybe he's some kinda incredible punt returner.

Not much known about this kid, but apparently has been really impressive at past camps. With this commit, I'm thinking OU feels like either Adrian Baker or L.J. Moore isn't coming. Still a few days before we know...

That bench max isn't bad for a high school kid playing defensive back who probably never has seriously done weight training.

Playing high school football at Lancaster Texas - I can promise you he's done some serious weight training.

I wonder how he would handle someone like Millard.

Yeah. Not impressive. His 40 time and squat ain't bad though. 25 yrs ago as a junior in HS, I weighed 165 and could put up 265, so someone isn't putting in the reps he should. I'm sure it'll get better with a 'lil Schmidty time. If he's still here pending the changes rumors.

Bench press is overrated anyway. I don't recall getting any points on the field for bench pressing.
