yes, I am not watching...

sounds like early on we were getting hosed on out of bounds balls...

bad shooting doesn't help hopefully we can keep it close.

the OU announcers are really questioning the calls...just got an off foul on us when withney came out and jumped to block a shot...wtf

Well, we could probably not shoot it worse. 29% ?? UGH.

Only down by 8, so they hanging tough, but the talent difference is pretty obvious. Here's to keeping it close at the 4min mark.

this was a L in my book, but as bad as we have played only down 8..

watching the cf tcu/bu...good grief the officials are horrible...bu is getting away with everything. tcu is really bad though.

sounds like we started the 2nd half with poor shooting. If Osby can't hit the 10 fter it will b a long night

damn...how bad can we play...and only be down 8...frustrating.

relooked at stats, the only bad stat is FG %...ku has more to's, about the same in everything else...except rebounds. We are getting killed on boards, us shooting 25% is going to give them a lot of chances on def rebounds...

I keep having trouble saying the name Withey. I think I'll just start calling him Whitey.

Withey has been the difference in this game. We just can't find a way to score with him around.

Every time we have a chance to cut it to 6..we rush a shot or turn it over. Frustrating! because we are hanging with them.

guess I should be happy, we've held our own and still have a chance to b above .500 in league by the end. We are growing.

Anybody wanting proof that Withey is a force defensively (as if anybody needed proof):

Romero Osby: 3-12 FG, 6 points

It was a longshot for either sooner team to expect the top-ranked team in the country to cede victory to us at their house.

Alas, fandom sometimes demands a bit unrealistic optimism :)

are we letting him get into our heads though, take the ball strong to him. pump fake, is Ro bringin him out high?
The announcers have said several times that withney has created contact with our guys but hasn't been called, in fact one was called on us an off foul.

Well I commend our effort but we just didn't play that well. Kansas didn't play great either though, so the rematch @LNC should be interesting.

We were able to keep it close for the majority of the game which is good. I think we should have fed the ball to Pledger more. He was 3-4 in the first half including two three pointers, and was on pace for AT LEAST 16 points at the end of the game. In the second half, he wasn't shooting as well, but he still only got four attempts. We continually went to the post even though Withey was killing us. Credit KU's defense to some extent, but we should have been running more sets for him. Anyways here's a recap. http://isportsweb.com/?p=198175
