Number of people without health insurance in 2009: 50.7 million

Number of people without health insurance in 2011: 48.6 million (obviously obamacare numbers might be different now in 2013)

I will say this: together, the Bush and Obama admins have taken us from Greenspan wondering about the pernicious effects of permanent budget surpluses without a national debt to $16+ Trillion in debt with precious little to show for it.
