Been thru there lots o times, on 66 & I-40. Strangely enough(to me anyway) CA was last state in the west to finish I-40. Did you ever notice
that I-40 dies in Barstow.??

Also, that 66 & I-40 separate in OKC ??

Picked up a 1956 Lincoln Mark II from Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale.

Now if I can just get my *** over to England/Scotland and visit Platform 9 3/4, Hogwarts Castle, and then do my pub tour in Ireland. One of these days...

Heh. I stopped at a place called Casa Blanca for supper and somebody stole the Barrett-Jackson tag off the Lincoln while I was inside. When I came out there was about 5-6 drunk Indians/Mexicans posing and taking pics in front of it. I didn't notice that one of them boosted the tag until the next morning when I left the hotel.

Dean, when ya make it to Scotland, be sure to time it so you go to
the Edinburgh Military Tatoo...lots of color and pagentry in the castle
that overlooks Princess Street (main drag in Edinburgh) and avoid the
waterfront.
