Google Street View

Does anyone else like to pick just random towns in the world to explore via Street View? If you can't travel there then it's a pretty nice alternative to look around a place.

I also like to "drive around" Waco using it whenever I start to miss Jerusalem-on-the-Braozs....which is a lot.

I wish Russia and Germany had better coverage than they do.

Yes. It is a great thing that I use a lot. I use it to find things in town when I can't picture exactly where something is. So that is a practical thing. I also use it to see things that I see on the news.
But like you, I use it as a virtual tourist. I go to Las Vegas a lot, but not enough, so I "explore" the town sometimes.

Yes. I wish they had better coverage in Africa.

But playing with Apple Maps in big US cities is fun.

I do this every day, but mostly only in the US. I like to look @ places where i have lived. I can find nearly all of them.
