On XM Radio, the Bone Yard just wrapped a 12 hour set of 420 Rush songs, including a countdown of their top 41. I didn't catch all of it, but what I did hear was excellent, of course.

19 2112 - This is probably No. 3 for me.
18 The Twilight Zone - "You wake up lost in an empty town, wondering why noone else is around - Look up to see a giant boy - just become his brand new toy." Heh.
17 Vital Signs - I likee.
16 The Big Money - "Big Money got no soul." Preach it my Canadian brother.
15 YYZ - Airport code for Lester Pearson International Airport in Toronto.
14 Lakeside Park - OK. Not in my top 15.
13 Entre Nous - top 10.
12 The Temples of Syrinx - Ummm - this is part of 2112 - not a separate song.
11 Circumstances - "Plus ca change, plus ce la meme chose."
10 Xanadu - Based upon a poem by Coleridge.
9 Red Barchetta - about right
8 Subdivisions - one of my faves.
7 Limelight - best opening guitar/drum hook in rock history.
6 Working Man - Meh. Concert extended versions are so much better than the original.
5 Freewill - Meh.
4 Closer To The Heart - "And the men who hold high places shall be the ones who start to mold a new reality, closer to the heart." Classic.
3 Fly By Night - OK.
2 Tom Sawyer - OK.
1 The Spirit Of Radio - Nah. Great song but not No.1.

I don't think they have ever done Entre Nous live.

Not when I've seen them.

The absence of "Natural Science" destroys the credibility of this list.

Surprised YYZ is only #15.

Agreed.

2112(with Temples Of Syrinx) and The Trees should be in the top 10.

Fixed. ;)

I keed, I keed. I actually love Rush.

He doesn't shriek anymore, and he has always been underappreciated as a vocalist.

"Kid Gloves" should also be on there, and all the instrumentals should be higher.
