That's very, very sad news. She was a classic.

Is it appropriate for internet friendlies to send condolences?

She will be missed.I talked with her a couple of times on the phone. Never met her in person. I got the feeling she wasn't doing well lately, due to her not posting in a while . Very sorry to lose her. She was very nice, and we saw eye to eye(figuratively) on most everything. She will be missed by lots of folks.

So sad. There are some great people on this board, and she was one of the best. They don't make them like her anymore.

Rest easy Mama, your work here is done.

She was a great person. I bought two OU season tickets from her last year. I did not realize she was doing so bad.

Glenda was really an impressive woman. She had her kooky Mama Mia moments, but she never took herself too seriously. She loved OU football and her grandkids. There is nothing she wouldn't do for those kids (or any family). Hell, she would have done anything for anyone, if she felt they needed it.

I got to know Glenda pretty well over the past year and a half. She was a wonderful person, and a die hard OU fan. As much as she showed her strength on the outside, she knew this fight was probably not in her favor...still, she fought hard.

I'll miss Glen, but not as much as her family will miss her. The Sooners are well represented in Heaven!

This isn't a recent picture, but even in this one you can tell what a sweet lady she was.

Wowser.

That's some sad news indeed.

I've PM'd her several times about personal matters and she was very likeable.

I'm very sorry to hear of her long lost battle with the Big C.

I'll say a prayer for her family.

Very sorry to hear this sad news.

MamaMia and I didn't always agree, but I have to say that I always loved the depth of her convictions because there was no doubt where her heart was. That part alone carried any argument. I love the pic of her making a basket because she told us all that she made them for people in need.

MamaMia once asked us to pray for one of her dogs who was having health issues and I refused as I don't pray for pets. I regret that now. Once, I think that I even made fun of pet seat belts in cars and she corrected me on the issue.

My most fond MamaMia post on this board was her recount of attending an OU game with her dogs at the hotel where the coaches and team stayed and getting the respect of being a righteous OU fan. Gotta love that.

Glenda, we all love you and Boomer!
