Looking at next year's football schedule (http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/OU/article.aspx?subjectid=92&articleid=20121121_29_B5_Olhmet974823), the answer is... do you find 10-3 acceptable for 2013, even if you didn't in 2012?

Hmmm. It makes me wonder how many of these posts are actually by Sooner fans, and how many are by chameleon --- whorn fans, stool state hilljacks, ESPiN gophers, other cfb network toadies and some of the local Oklahoma press retards who don't GAS about the Sooners and have an ax to grind with our coaching staff. Hopefully our coaches (and players) will suck it up, win another Big 12 championship next year, and put their Holiday vacation plans and golfing trips on hold for 1 year and have quality game plans on both sides of the ball to win a quality BCS bowl game.

Yeah, and if i were less complacent of a fan, that wouldnt be cool, because when seasons are now 13-14 games long, winning 8, 9 or 10 in a season isnt what it used to be. It sounds good, but that's what got :mack: his (for all intents and purposes) lifetime contract at whorn

Bob has the biggest job out in front of him since when he became an assistant for Bill Snyder, probably. This has been the worst defense in school history for three consecutive years now. Bob and his defensive staff cannot call themselves defensive-minded coaches if they can't find a way to get out of this funk. I understand it cannot be fixed by game one; simply by virtue of the talent is lacking. However, if things were truly on the upswing, you'd see it by about the fifth or sixth game next year... better effort and the group coming together. The thing about college football is you don't know how good you are until your guys get out there and give the besteffort they're capable of giving. We've seen quite a few coaches in recent memory walk into a disaster of a CFB program and make them immediately relevant... Bob Stoops is one of them. CFB problems can be fixed very quickly if the staff actually has the balls to address them after they get done looking in the mirror.
