On player development...

I have no idea where I heard or read this but someone said it's telling that two of the better players on the team are transfers from other schools. Thoughts?

I assume you are talking about Brown and Saunders. We definitely lucked out with them but Jaz Reynolds was very productive last season. His development was not a problem; it was his immaturity. I heard he might be back. We could use him with Stills leaving and Brown graduating. I do think we all expected more out of Metoyer this year. That guy was a beast in the Spring game.

And Shepard had a very Broyles like debut season sans not seeing the field as much due to there being a lot more blow-outs in the 2008 season.

Brown and Saunders were both welcome additions. Saunders did a good job of trying to lose more playing time though.
