I was thinking Oregon would run away with this, but I'm having second thoughts with the way bowl season has played out. The Big XII hasn't been great, but the Pac-12 has been terrible. I think they're #3, #4, and #5 teams all lost in fairly embarrassing fashion. Their #2 won a close one against the Big Ten's #5ish. That Baylor comparison is scaring me back to my original thoughts, though. Hoping for a K-State win, though. It would be nice for the conference to prove itself on a big stage. I've been disgusted by the way the SEC has ran a train on us in the polls this year. Conference reputation will matter going forward. Half the SEC is rated ahead of us based on nothing other than that.

Trust me, I'd love to see KSU beat the Ducks. There are a few Duck fans that I know that I would love to see pout. I just don't think it's going to happen. Hope I'm wrong.


One thing that STEP said earlier that I disagree with, was his comparison of Baylor and Oregon. The biggest difference between the two is that Oregon can play defense. They've had some games that they didn't play very good defense (against USC), but most of the time, they can bring it. That's something that Baylor doesn't even sniff.

Oregon will struggle if KSU's defense plays up to their potential. KSU's entire defense has been underrated all year, and they did lay an egg against Baylor. But, a month to prepare for a team can fix a lot.

The KSU O should just line up and run the called play and try to knock the cheet out of them instead of trying to change the play at the LOS to out-smart them.
