He oughta be carryin like Owens used to...40-45 times a game.
If he did...2500 or so in a season!

At least we did get to see DM vs. Gerhart.

Yep I just got my 46" TV and it was the very first bowl game that I watched on it.

Yep. I remember we had a Stanford fan visit our board before that game. I told him Gerhart would get his yards, but Stanford would have no prayer covering Broyles.

Great Post Game after the Post Game Interview mixup.

Congrats to Stanford. I really didn't think they could beat Wisconsin.

I didn't catch what made Wisky fans boo the Stanford band (couldn't understand the announcer and the band spelled out "HOMAGE" and "FUNNY" when they showed them on TV) but they apparently blew up twitter (http://www.sbnation.com/2013/1/1/3825928/stanford-band-infuriates-offends-lots-of-terrible-humorless-people)

This probably should be a separate thread, but while I watched that game I kept wondering why OU cannot have a defense that plays like that. Why not? Surely, there's not that huge of a difference talent wise. This defense shut down Oregon and it's point a minute offense. It plays well against traditional offenses. Shouldn't Sooner coaches be watching and scheming the same way Stanford does.


I have seen this before, but they did a lot of having no down lineman. Everyone was standing up and moving around late in an attempt to confuse the blocking scheme. They also tackled extremely well. Montee Ball had his moments, but more often than not when he was hit he went down. As an old guy that grew up on Cumby and Shoate and Hunt and Bosworth, I love to see linebackers that tackle well.
