Wow, Purdue is horrible. They are the worst team in the bowls this year.

I've watched more bowl games this year than ever before, and I have come to the conclusion that there are WAY too many bowl games. While I am happy for the players and fans that get an extra game, the "benefit" of playing in a bowl has been washed away. Bad teams who beat up on overmatched non-conference foes, then go .500 or worse in conference, are filling the 70000000 bowl spots. The only thing worse is the teams who don't want to be there sleep-walk through a loss (see WV)...

I think we all knew this would be ugly, but this matchup just accentuates that the bowl selection process, and the sheer number of bowls, is ridiculous. Purdue has no business in a bowl game. None....

Worse yet, the sideline shots of Purdue look to me that "give up" is very close...

One of my senior level professors at OU used to teach at Purdue. He said that when OU students did poorly, they would ask how they could improve. However, when Purdue students did poorly, they blamed the professor.

I can't blame Purdue for being in a bowl. It isn't their fault OSU and PSU are banned from bowl competition.
